One Hundred names

One Hundred Names by Cecelia Ahern

When you aren't sure of how you fit in, or what matters this is the book you need to read. One Hundred Names will help you find the connection that you are missing. While the beginning is sad and heart breaking the journey to the end will have you smiling.

Why I like this story

I like the fact that you have to keep reading to find the connections and feel good feelings. And you will feel all of the feels. It is not a murder mystery but a how does everything fit together mystery. A list of one hundred name, how are they connected and who are they?

Other reasons I like this book

As you read you can feel Kitty's desperation to get this story right. Not just for herself but for Constance as well. With each person she meets and gets to know she begins to re-discover who she is and the writer that Constance saw in her. This story is not like anything Kitty has ever written. She doesn't have an idea or any clues other than the list and her knowledge of Constance and how she was about journalism. As Kitty meets each person, she gets to know each individual and learns their stories. Not finding anything earth-shattering or scandalous, Kitty is at a loss as to what connection these people have. In the midst of helping the people she has come to know and care about, she finds love for herself in the form of Steve.

The list gives Kitty her chance to redeem herself after her bad decisions caused her to be publicly disgraced and she learns many lessons about herself and others. The people she meets are so well written. Readers will fall in love with all of them. As you come to the conclusion of the story, you won't be able to help the smile on your face.

There are so many categories this book fits into; strong women, redemption, 2nd chances, chick lit, and light romance. My rating:*- ☕☕☕☕☕
